These are low-traffic, non-commercial lists which are primarily used to organize our work efforts and discuss projects. A daily digest option is available.


General Books to Prisoners list
Read & Respond to letters from inmates in area prisons and send them books. By belonging to this email list, you will be notified about our meeting times and be able to participate in and contribute to all of our projects.

Jail librarians
Participate in staffing the libraries in our local jails and work face to face with the inmates, providing library services. Currently we provide these services six times each month at the Downtown Urbana jail.

Zine Editors
Participate in editing our zine by selecting works of art and writings for publication which have been submitted by inmates. Assist in lay-out, publication and circulation of the zine.
